Last events - FIRST WORKSHOP IN INMUNO-ONCOLOGY ADVANCES
On October 20th and 21st 2014 the first Workshop in Inmuno-oncology advances took place in Barcelona. The event, organized by the clinical research company MedSIR, with the academic collaboration of Pompeu Fabra University and Innovation Factory™ Institute and the sponsorship of the pharmaceutical companies Bristol-Myers Squibb and AstraZeneca, as well as the collaboration of NanoString Technologies, gathered together 40 oncologists from all over Spain to took part on this event. The workshop offers specialists in different fields the chance to get familiar with new techniques in Immunotherapy cancer treatment.
The participants attended to lectures presented by professionals in the immune system and immunotherapy in order to work afterwards in groups and to assimilate the acquired knowledge through a wide variety of simple and creative tools that allowed them to organize and interiorize the information in a dynamic and innovative way. Last events - TEACHING AND COACHING INNOVATION WORKSHOP (Barcelona – 19/20 February 2014)
ISPIM ‘Teaching & Coaching Innovation’ Special Interest Group, The Innovation Centre of EADA and the Innovation Factory™ Institute are offering a workshop to address the growing demand for mastering teaching and coaching capabilities in the innovation management field. Teachers, trainers, lecturers and facilitators will learn how to make the teaching & learning processes of innovation management interactive, engaging, motivating, illustrative, efficient, appropriate for today’s students and to altogether perform it differently.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn new and different approaches, and try out a wide range of exercises and games addressing many of the common themes in innovation management such as new product development, innovation strategy, innovation capabilities, innovation design and implementation etc.
Participants will take away new teaching materials and methods as well as case-studies and resources from the leading innovation management educators of today. See details
Last events - EUROPEAN THINK TANK MEETING IN BREAST CANCER
The 22nd and 23rd of November Orbita 97 and Medica Scientia Innovation Research (MedSIR ARO) will lead the first European think tank meeting in breast cancer. Its main objective is to boost Clinical Trial Designs as a process of innovation through an exclusive forum for international experts to share and compare experiences.
Participants will have the advantage to discuss and debate new clinical trial designs with 11 leading world experts acting as mentors. The event aims to reach the best answers currently possible and provide the clinician with reliable, up-to-date scientific solutions, based on the best existing evidence. [See video]
Last events - ISPIM 2012
The International Society for Professionals of Innovation Management (ISPIM) has chosen Barcelona as the venue to hold its next conference, which will take place on June 17th and 20th 2012.
This year the event will focus on the theme "Action for Innovation: Innovating from experience", and it will be co-organized by Orbita97 with the University of La Salle as host. See details
